What to Expect

You will be accompanied by a private English-speaking guide and travel in a private Mercedes vehicle with a professional driver. Your driver will be waiting in the hotel lobby, at the train station or at a convenient meeting point, holding a sign with your name.

This experience takes you through panoramic hills, vibrant neighborhoods, historic treasures, and monumental landmarks that reveal why Naples is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

We begin with the views from Posillipo Hill, chosen since Roman times by emperors, poets, and philosophers for their Ville d’Otium — leisure villas devoted to the Dolce Vita.

Here we admire Villa Pausilypon, built by the Roman knight Publius Vedius Pollio, with its ancient theater, odeon, and maritime structures, while discovering how Neapolitans still live much as the Romans once did — stepping out of their homes and walking straight to the sea.

At the “Park of Love,” we enjoy a walk and breathtaking 360-degree views over the Bay of Naples, the Phlegraean Fields and the Bay of Pozzuoli — host of the 2027 America’s Cup — the islands of Ischia, Procida, and Capri, the Sorrento Peninsula, and Mount Vesuvius.

We continue to San Martino on Vomero Hill for the iconic photo stop over Naples and may also visit the Certosa, then head to Capodimonte Hill, where you may visit the royal park or the museum.

Next, we explore the authentic Sanità district, where life unfolds between noble palaces and artisan workshops. Here we stop at one of Naples’ best-kept secret pizzerias for an unforgettable pizza.

The journey continues into Naples’ UNESCO-listed Historic Centre, where history and daily life blend seamlessly. We visit the Cathedral, the Treasure of San Gennaro, the Veiled Christ, and Caravaggio’s The Seven Works of Mercy at Pio Monte della Misericordia, as well as the National Archaeological Museum.

As we walk through ancient streets and lively squares, you’ll feel the layered soul of the city.

We then stroll through Pignasecca Market and the Spanish Quarter, known for their narrow streets and vibrant atmosphere.

Finally, we arrive in the Monumental Area, including Piazza del Plebiscito, the Royal Palace, Galleria Umberto I, and Maschio Angioino, before stopping at the iconic Caffè Gambrinus and returning to the ship.
