    What To Expect

    We offer an English speaking driver who can provide transportation but highly recommend adding a private guide for a more memorable experience. A private guide is available for the whole day or only the two hour tour of Pompeii and the the two hour tour of Herculaenum. Your driver will be waiting in the hotel lobby, at the train station,  or at a convenient meeting point, holding a sign with your name.

    1. Pompeii

      Is the most stunning archaeological site on the Italian Peninsula and one of the most visited. The ruins of Pompeii are an open air museum where visitors can go back in time and discover a city that had been buried in ashes until 1748. Visitors experience the city much as it existed more than 2000 years ago.

    2. Herculaenum

      The smaller sister of Pompeii, is a destination for lovers of beauty. Visitors to the ancient city have the rare opportunity to see perfectly intact patrician villas. A miracle of preservation where even the wood and ropes of the 2000 year old city are on display, along with stunning brick work, mosaics, and frescos. The detail with which Herculaneum has been preserved is remarkable considering the violence of the 500 C° volcanic flows which ravaged the city.

    Know Before You Go

    • We recommend sunscreen, sunglasses and light, comfortable clothing, especially during the warmer months.
    • Appropriate attire covering shoulders and knees is required when visiting religious sites.
    • Pompeii includes uneven terrain and ancient cobblestone streets; comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended
    • Herculaneum features well-preserved ancient structures and steps; supportive footwear is advised for a comfortable visit

    Booking & Cancellation Policy

    Reservations are confirmed with a 20% deposit, payable on our website.
    The remaining 80% balance is due 15 days prior to the scheduled service.
    Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email and are valid from the date received: up to 15 days before with no penalty; 14–8 days before, 20% fee; 7 days or less, 100% non-refundable.

    Your driver will be waiting in the hotel lobby, at the train station, or at a convenient meeting point, holding a sign with your name.
