What to Expect

Your journey to Ravenna begins as you leave behind the present and step into a city shaped by centuries of art, power, and extraordinary beauty.

As you arrive, the atmosphere shifts. Ravenna feels different — quieter, more refined, almost suspended in time. Walking through its streets, you begin to sense that this is not just another Italian city, but a place where history is revealed in details, light, and silence.

Your path leads you into the heart of Ravenna’s UNESCO treasures.
From the Basilica of San Vitale to the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, each monument unveils a world of shimmering mosaics — intricate, luminous, and unlike anything else in Italy.

As you move through these spaces, the experience becomes deeply immersive. Gold, color, and light come together to create scenes that feel almost alive, telling stories that have endured for centuries.

The journey continues across the ancient Roman city, where history unfolds naturally from one site to the next. You will reach the Cathedral area and the Neon Baptistery, before continuing toward the elegant Basilica of Sant’Apollinare Nuovo, each stop adding a new layer to Ravenna’s identity.

Along the way, the city reveals its more intimate side.
You will pass through People’s Square, discover Dante Alighieri’s Tomb, and visit the Basilica of St. Francis, where atmosphere and history merge into something quietly powerful.

There is no rush — the rhythm of the experience allows you to fully absorb the beauty, the silence, and the extraordinary artistic heritage that defines Ravenna.

This is a journey through a city unlike any other — where mosaics are not just decoration, but a language of light, history, and timeless beauty.
