What to Expect
We offer a private Mercedes Minivan and an English-speaking driver who can provide transportation, but we highly recommend adding a private guide for a more memorable experience. A private guide is available for a two-hour tour of Siena and a two-hour tour of San Gimignano. Your driver will be waiting in the hotel lobby, at the train station, or at a convenient meeting point, holding a sign with your name.
Leave the city of Lucca behind and enjoy a scenic drive through the Tuscan countryside, where rolling hills, vineyards, olive groves, and cypress-lined roads create the perfect Italian landscape.
Your first stop is Siena, one of Italy’s most fascinating and historic cities.
Discover the magnificent Piazza del Campo, one of Europe’s most celebrated squares and home to the world-famous Palio horse race, held twice each summer. Admire the surrounding landmarks, including the historic Palazzo Pubblico (City Hall) and the impressive Torre del Mangia.
Continue to the stunning Siena Cathedral (Duomo), a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, along with the nearby Baptistery, both rich in artistic and historical significance.
After your visit, enjoy a traditional Tuscan lunch in a welcoming local setting, where fresh ingredients and regional recipes come together to create authentic flavors.
In the afternoon, continue to the enchanting hilltop town of San Gimignano, famously known as the “Manhattan of Tuscany.”
Surrounded by vineyards and rolling countryside, San Gimignano is renowned for its iconic skyline of medieval towers.
Wander through its charming streets, lined with stone buildings, artisan shops, and lively squares. Admire the historic towers dating back to the 11th and 13th centuries, with 15 still standing today, creating a unique and timeless silhouette.
Enjoy time at your own pace — take in panoramic views, browse local boutiques, or relax with a coffee, a glass of wine, or a traditional gelato.
Throughout the day, your itinerary remains flexible, allowing you to move at your own pace and focus on what interests you most.
At the end of your experience, relax as you make your way back, taking with you unforgettable memories of Siena and San Gimignano.
