Visiting beautiful Florence, the capital of Renaissance art. First stop will be at the Piazzale Michelangelo for a panoramic photo stop of the whole city of Florence!
Following the photo stop we suggest you to visit on your own the Galleria dell'Accademia, the museum which houses a number of Michelangelo's masterpieces, including the famous "David".
From there, go on to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore to see its crowning glory Brunelleschi's dome, Giotto's bell tower and the Baptistery of San Giovanni. Continuing through the medieval section of the city, you reach Piazza della Signoria which is dominated by the imposing Palazzo Vecchio, and here you find some of the city's finest sculpture.
