Your day begins in Portofino, where you will meet your guide and start your experience. The most authentic way to discover the beauty of this region is on foot.

As you enter the Portofino Natural Park, the landscape changes quickly. The trail winds through Mediterranean vegetation, shaded paths, and open viewpoints, revealing the coastline below from ever-changing perspectives.

With each step, the sea appears and disappears between the trees, until the view opens wide over the cliffs and the deep blue water.

The walk is not just about reaching a destination — it is about the rhythm of the path, the silence of nature, and the feeling of moving through a place that remains largely untouched.

After approximately 2 hours of hiking, you arrive at San Fruttuoso.

Hidden between steep cliffs and accessible only by foot or by boat, this small bay feels completely removed from the rest of the world. At its center stands the Abbey of San Fruttuoso, a historic and atmospheric landmark facing the sea.

Here, you will enjoy a 3-course seafood lunch in a local seaside restaurant, accompanied by wine and water — a simple and authentic moment, perfectly in tune with the surroundings.

You will also have time to relax by the water or visit the abbey, depending on your pace and preferences.

In the afternoon, you will return by public boat to Portofino, offering a different perspective of the coastline from the sea.

• In case  of wind and rough sea the ferry might not be running and the itinerary may be modified. In this case you will enjoy an hiking tour along the trail between Portofino and Santa Margherita Ligure and a one-way transfer back to Portofino by private vehicle will be arranged. 

• We recommend sunscreen, sunglasses, and light, comfortable clothing, especially during warmer months
• Moderate physical fitness is required for the approximately 2-hour hike
• The trail may include uneven terrain, steps, and inclines
• In case of rough sea conditions, an alternative hiking route will be offered
