What To Expect

For a truly comfortable and personalized experience in Sicily, we offer a private Mercedes minivan with an English-speaking driver for up to 8 guests, or a private Mercedes minibus with a driver and English-speaking guide for larger groups. Your driver or guide will be waiting for you at your port of arrival, holding a sign with your name.

Your journey begins with a visit to the charming hilltop villages of Savoca and Forza d’Agrò, where director Francis Ford Coppola filmed many scenes from the legendary movie The Godfather.

Step into the world of The Godfather and walk through the very villages where cinematic history was made.

These picturesque villages, with their quiet streets and timeless atmosphere, are surrounded by beautiful mountainous scenery and feature several fascinating historic churches and traditional Sicilian architecture.

While visiting Savoca, you may also stop at the famous Bar Vitelli, one of the most iconic filming locations from The Godfather. It was here that Michael Corleone met Apollonia’s father to ask for permission to court his daughter. The bar still preserves its original atmosphere and offers a unique glimpse into the world of the legendary film.

Continue to the lovely hilltop town of Castelmola, recently recognized as one of Italy’s most beautiful villages. Here you will have time to explore its charming streets and perhaps taste the famous local almond wine, a traditional specialty of the village.

Your tour then continues to the elegant town of Taormina, where you will visit the magnificent Greek-Roman Theatre, whose spectacular ruins have inspired writers, artists, and travelers for centuries.

From the theatre you can admire magnificent panoramic views over the Strait of Messina, the Ionian Sea, and Mount Etna.

After some free time for shopping, strolling along Corso Umberto, or relaxing in one of Taormina’s charming cafés, you will be comfortably returned to your ship at the port.

This tour is carefully timed to fit your cruise ship schedule, ensuring a relaxed experience and a guaranteed return to port.
