What to Expect

We offer an English-speaking guide for a 6-hour private walking tour of Florence. Your guide will be waiting for you at your hotel lobby or at a convenient central meeting point, holding a sign with your name.

Your experience begins at the Galleria dell’Accademia, where you will encounter Michelangelo’s David.

Standing before this masterpiece, you will understand why it has become one of the most powerful symbols of Florence — not only for its beauty, but for what it represents in the history of the city.

From here, you will continue through the streets of Florence toward the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, where your guide will introduce you to Brunelleschi’s Dome, Giotto’s Bell Tower, and the Baptistery of San Giovanni.

As you walk through the historic center, Florence reveals itself beyond its monuments.

Your guide will share insight into daily life, pointing out local shops, hidden corners, and places where Florentines still gather, giving you a deeper and more authentic understanding of the city.

The experience continues to the Uffizi Gallery, one of the most important museums in the world.

Inside, you will explore a collection that spans centuries, including masterpieces such as Botticelli’s Birth of Venus, works by Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and other great figures of the Renaissance.

With your guide, the visit becomes clear and engaging, helping you focus on the most significant works without feeling overwhelmed.

Later, you will visit the Church of Santa Croce, a place of great historical and cultural importance.

Here rest some of Italy’s most celebrated figures, including Michelangelo Buonarroti, Galileo Galilei, and other masters who shaped the identity of the country.

The atmosphere is both monumental and intimate — a space where art, history, and legacy come together.

Throughout the experience, your guide will also share practical tips to enjoy Florence like a local — from where to stop for a proper Italian espresso, to enjoying authentic gelato, or discovering the best places to savor Tuscan cuisine, including fresh pasta, ribollita, or the famous bistecca alla fiorentina.

You will also pass by artisan workshops and hidden corners, where Florence’s traditions are still alive — from leather craftsmanship to gold jewelry.

This is not just a tour of Florence.
This is a journey through the city that shaped the Renaissance.
