What to Expect
We offer an English-speaking guide for a 3-hour private walking tour of Florence. Your guide will be waiting for you at your hotel lobby or at a convenient central meeting point, holding a sign with your name.
Your experience begins at the Galleria dell’Accademia, home to some of Michelangelo’s most important works.
Here, you will encounter the David, one of the most iconic sculptures in the world. Standing before it, you will appreciate not only its scale and beauty, but also the story behind its creation and its deep connection to Florence.
From the Accademia, you will continue through the streets of the historic center toward the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore.
As you walk, your guide will not only explain the monuments, but also introduce you to the rhythm of daily life in Florence — pointing out local shops, hidden corners, and places where Florentines still gather.
At the Cathedral complex, you will admire Brunelleschi’s Dome, Giotto’s Bell Tower, and the Baptistery of San Giovanni, learning how these masterpieces shaped the identity of the city.
The walk continues through narrow medieval streets and lively squares, where Florence feels both historic and alive.
Along the way, your guide will share practical tips to enjoy Florence like a local — from stopping at a traditional café for a rich Italian espresso, to enjoying authentic gelato from a renowned gelateria, or discovering where to savor the best Tuscan meal, including fresh pasta, ribollita, or a classic bistecca alla fiorentina paired with regional wine.
You will also pass by hidden corners and artisan workshops, where Florence’s traditions are still alive — from leather craftsmanship to gold jewelry.
The tour reaches Piazza della Signoria, the political heart of Florence, dominated by the Palazzo Vecchio and surrounded by remarkable sculptures.
Here, history, art, and everyday life come together in one of the city’s most iconic settings.
Throughout the experience, your guide will bring Florence to life not only through history and art, but through stories, local insight, and a genuine connection to the city.
This is not just a walk through Florence.
This is Florence — experienced through its art, its streets, and its everyday life.
