    What to Expect

    We provide an English-speaking driver for your transportation and highly recommend adding a private guide for a more enriching and memorable experience. A private guide is available for the full day or for a 2-hour tour of the Royal Palace of Caserta and a 2-hour tour of Pompeii. Your driver will be waiting for you at your port of arrival, holding a sign with your name on it.

    1. Caserta

      Caserta The Royal Palace of Caserta is now a World Heritage Site and was originally built for the Bourbon Royal family. The construction of the Palace began in 1752 and took over 90 years to complete. Caserta was considered to be a safe location for the Royal Palace as it was out of range of Vesuvius and could not be attacked by sea pirates. Built to rival the palaces of Versailles and Madrid, it was used as a base for the Allied Forces during World War II. The Palace was more recently used as a film location for the movie, “Star Wars Episode II – Attack of the Clones”.

    2. Pompeii

      Is the most stunning archaeological site on the Italian Peninsula and one of the most visited. The ruins of Pompeii are an open air museum where visitors can go back in time and discover a city that had been buried in ashes until 1748. Visitors experience the city much as it existed more than 2000 years ago.

    • We recommend sunscreen, sunglasses and light, comfortable clothing, especially during the warmer months
    • Royal Palace of Caserta features grand halls, historic interiors, and expansive gardens; comfortable footwear is recommended for a pleasant visit
    • Pompeii includes uneven terrain and ancient cobblestone streets; comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended
    • Please note that Caserta Royal Palace is closed on Tuesdays

    Booking & Cancellation Policy

    Reservations are confirmed with a 20% deposit, payable on our website.
    The remaining 80% balance is due 15 days prior to the scheduled service.
    Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email and are valid from the date received: up to 15 days before with no penalty; 14–8 days before, 20% fee; 7 days or less, 100% non-refundable.
